The actress and former CEO of Ferrari initially met in June 2004 in Shanghai, and they hit it off right away. One month later, they became engaged.

Since then, they have stood by each other’s sides during crucial occasions, like Yeoh’s 2023 Oscar victory, when she made history by becoming the first Asian woman to win the Best Actress Oscar.

The pair recently celebrated a major milestone in their love by getting married after a 19-year engagement.

On July 27, Ferrari Formula 1 driver Felipe Massa posted a picture of their wedding program to Instagram along with the remark, “Happy marriage.” Michelle Yeoh and Jean Todt adore you so much.

“Today, on July 27, 2023, in Geneva, after 6992 days, we are so pleased to share this special occasion with our loved ones!” Read the note.

He is French.

On February 26, 1946, Todt was born in Pierrefort, Cantal, France. He attended the Ecole des Cadres School of Economics and Business in Paris after finishing high school before entering the world of motorsports.

Todt has a long history with motorsport, starting his career as a co-driver in 1966 and eventually winning the manufacturers’ World Rally Championship in 1981. 

Following his retirement as a co-driver, he was appointed Director of Racing for Peugeot, a brand he stayed with until 1993. After that, he was recruited by Scuderia Ferrari before eventually serving as the CEO of Ferrari from 2004 to 2008. 

He and Michelle Yeoh had a very long engagement  

The couple first got engaged in July 2004 and were engaged for 19 years — 6,992 days to be exact! — before tying the knot in Geneva on July 27, 2023. 

He’s been by Michelle Yeoh’s side for some big career moments 

The couple has backed each other in their professional aspirations for over two decades of their relationship. Yeoh and Todt have been observed in the stands together at a number of auto races, including the British Grand Prix, but Todt has supported Yeoh at a number of Hollywood functions.

Todt’s adult son from a prior relationship is named Nicolas Todt. Nicolas is the manager of well-known racing drivers, such as Formula 1 racer Charles Leclerc, following in his father’s footsteps, according to his Instagram.

Through the years, Yeoh has shared pictures of herself hanging out with Todt and his son, providing a peek of their close family ties. She captioned a photo of the group eating dinner in December 2020, “With my Todt boys and the best dinner.”
