The crash in London on May 10 resulted in “multiple broken bones and massive internal injuries” for Helen Holland, 81.

Following the death of an 81-year-old lady who was hit by a motorbike that was a member of the British royal’s police escort, the Duchess of Edinburgh sent her sympathies on Wednesday.

Sophie, the wife of Prince Edward, expressed her condolences for Helen Holland’s passing when she was killed on May 10 at a junction in West London.

The death of Helen Holland has left the Duchess of Edinburgh “deeply saddened,” according to Buckingham Palace. The whole family of Ms. Holland has my sincere condolences and sorrow.

Martin Holland, Martin Holland’s son, told the BBC that his mother died from “multiple broken bones and massive internal injuries.”

Holland, an Essex native, allegedly traveled to London to see her elder sister.

According to her son, she battled “for her life for almost two weeks, but irreparable brain damage finally ended the battle today.”

The accident is being looked upon by the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
