Tammy Slaton has come a long way on her health journey since appearing on the popular TLC reality show. In the latest season of 1000-Lb. Sisters, viewers witnessed her transformation while she was at a weight loss rehab facility in Ohio. One episode documented her achieving her weight loss goal, which was to go from 717 lbs. to 550 lbs. in order to qualify for the surgery. To her delight, she surpassed her target and reached 534 lbs.

Reflecting on this accomplishment, she shared her excitement during the Feb. 7 episode, stating, “When I got on the scale and I saw the scale was at 534.7, I kinda stopped breathing for a second. I’m like 14 lbs. under my goal weight. From over 700, that’s a huge drop.”

After the surgery, Tammy was spotted shopping in Indiana and walking on her own, a significant improvement from relying on a wheelchair or walker for mobility.
