According to the official Powerball website, the winning numbers on Wednesday were 7, 13, 10, 24, and 11, and the Powerball number was 24.

The prize won on Wednesday was the third-largest Powerball jackpot and the seventh-largest U.S. lottery jackpot overall.

The California Lottery creates the state’s first billionaire ever! In the November 7 #Powerball drawing, one lucky ticket purchased at Joe’s Service Center in Altadena matched all six numbers, according to a tweet from California lottery officials at the time.

They said in a subsequent Tweet, “We are so excited and we just can’t hide it.” Not only did California have the BIG #Powerball winner, but three additional tickets in Gardena, Beaumont, and San Francisco also matched five numbers with the exception of the Powerball. Congratulations to all our players!”

The jackpot, which had been pegged at $1.9 billion when first calculated, had risen to $2.04 billion, lottery officials stated just hours before releasing the thrilling news, “making it the world’s largest lottery prize.”

According to sources, Edwin Castro, the lucky recipient of last year’s record Powerball jackpot, reportedly spent a staggering $25.5 million, or roughly 2.56% of his winnings, to buy a mansion in the Hollywood Hills.
