In the ‘The Kardashians’ season 3 opener, Khloé Kardashian spoke up about finding the surrogacy process to be “transactional” and unsettling.

Khloé Kardashian suffered as she prepared to give birth to baby No. 2 due to some challenging emotions.

The 38-year-old co-founder of Good American opened up during a confessional in the season 3 opener of The Kardashians about feeling guilty about having a surrogate to give birth to her son Tatum, who is now 9 months old.

Khloé confesses, “I buried my head in the sand during that pregnancy,” explaining that she was in a “state of shock from the entire experience in general.”

The first time it truly hit me was when I arrived at the hospital, and it had nothing to do with the baby.

“I felt very bad because this woman had just given birth to my child, and then I took the child, went to another room, and we were apart. Because it’s not about him, the encounter is so transactional.

She says, “I wish someone would be honest about surrogacy and the differences.” It’s fantastic, but it’s extremely different, so that doesn’t imply it’s awful.

Khloé acknowledged in another scene of the episode that she connected with her daughter True, who is now five, after her birth better than she did with her newborn son.

“It’s a mindf—,” she said. Kim thought her task was simple, but this is not simple.

True was born in 2018, after Kardashian and Thompson began dating. They reunited after their breakup in June 2021. In January 2021, Kardashian subsequently called it quits with the sportsman.

In addition, Thompson is a father to sons Prince, 6, and Theo, 16 months, with his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig.

Khloé criticized followers for speculating that the couple were reconciling earlier this month in an Instagram message, calling the entire situation “exhausting.”

“Stop advancing this story. Khloé said, “It’s exhausting,” in response to a screenshot of a fan page from the celebrity rumor website Deux Moi that read, “Kim supporting Tristan at the Lakers game… What is happening?
