Prince Louis enjoys playing tennis a lot.

Wimbledon is not only one of the most prestigious tennis competitions in the world and draws attention from all over, but it is also somewhat of a British institution. In light of the foregoing, it is not surprising that royalty and celebrities alike never pass up the opportunity to watch the top tennis players in action.

The Prince and Princess of Wales watched the action over the final weekend of the previous tournament, but they weren’t the only ones. Prince George, who is the oldest, actually went with their parents. The youngster had never attended a fun day with his parents before, and he had never witnessed his mother award the trophy to the class champions. Princess Charlotte was given the chance to go to Wimbledon this year, but her younger brother, Prince Louis, was not, which infuriated him much.

Prince Louis attended a number of significant events during the past few years, including the Platinum Jubilee celebration honoring his now-deceased great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth. Pictures showing him engaging in a variety of ‘controversial’ activities, such as pulling funny faces, while on such royal expeditions have amused the public.

Louis is a real handful, according to a source. “William and Kate try their best to teach him appropriate behavior, but they are aware that a small child finds these occasions tiring. In this way, they are similar to other parents of small children. It does increase their public relatability.

The insider added of George and Charlotte: “They gently scold him when he gets out of hand because he’s got to learn. William and Kate are aware that the day will come when smiling won’t be considered cute. I’m hoping Louis gets over it.

She gave the example of a large flag with the image of Louis emblazoned on it that was visible in the crowd at Glastonbury, one of the largest music festivals in the world with about 20,000 attendees.

Five-year-olds “guarantee Fleet Street’s photo editors a cheeky, charming shot,” Elser said. “Put that kid in public, maybe in the vicinity of a military parade or out on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.” You would have to be Cruella de Ville without Dalmatians to not find this image utterly endearing and delightful.

“However, I truly believe—looking at that Glasto flag—that we have reached a turning point. Louis has transformed from a royal child to a parody of popular culture, from a toddler to an engaging figure. He’s a boy instead of a never-ending meme, though.

She said that she thinks Louis could easily become “another Prince Harry” if he is perceived as a comic figure going forward.

Elser said, “We owe it to Louis not to create a joke out of him, not to make him a punchline or a cartoon figure.

And if we fail, in 30 years, he’ll be sitting on a couch and venting to Oprah’s hologram about how upset he is.

Now, the youngest Prince was not allowed to attend this year’s Wimbledon. Louis may simply be restless, or it may be since the matches are typically played for lengthy hours.

Before the final began, Kate mentioned to one of the officials that Louis had closely followed the Wimbledon competition and had even rehearsed being a ball boy.

“Charlotte is coming for the first time; George came last year. They have been intently observing. You’ve been mastering the score, Charlotte. Louis was disappointed that he couldn’t make it today, Kate added.

Stan Smith, a tennis legend, a former Wimbledon champion, and a style icon, gave Louis a pair of personalized Adidas sneakers in 2019.

We are confident that Prince Louis would frequently attend Wimbledon in the future and that, like his parents, he would be an outstanding tennis player.
