In a recent episode of her Unlocked podcast, Savannah Chrisley shared an update on her brother Grayson Chrisley’s condition after a scary accident earlier this month. The 16-year-old is currently “beaten up” but overall doing well. Savannah’s mother, Julie Chrisley also expressed relief that the situation wasn’t worse.

Savannah revealed that when Grayson first told her about the accident, she didn’t think much of it. He made it sound like a minor fender bender, saying, “I hit the rear of someone.” However, upon inspecting the damage to the involved Ford F-150, they realized it was far more serious. The car was deemed “totaled” and all airbags had been activated. Savannah described the moment as “horrible” and said her heart sank upon seeing the wreckage.

What makes the situation even more challenging for the Chrisley family is the recent news of Todd and Julie Chrisley’s prison sentences. The heads of the household have been convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud, receiving 12 and 7 years of imprisonment, respectively. The family was already dealing with legal issues, and Grayson’s accident only added to their stress.

Savannah also shared that her brother immediately acknowledged the timing of the accident. He said, “This was the last thing that everyone needed, with all the legal crap y’all got going on, Grayson.” However, Todd Chrisley responded with support and reassurance, reminding Grayson that he is alive, secure, and well.

The accident, which allegedly involved Grayson rear-ending a red Dodge vehicle, caused significant damage to the front of the Ford F-150. The bumper was left hanging off, according to a Nashville police complaint.

The Chrisley family has been through a lot recently, and the accident brought additional turmoil to their lives. The news of Todd and Julie’s sentences left them in shock, with the whole family experiencing a wave of emotions. It’s a tough time for everyone, but they are doing their best to support one another and stay strong.

Our thoughts are with the Chrisley family during this challenging period, and we wish Grayson a speedy recovery.
