Dan Mozer, a soon-to-be father, had a brilliant idea for a maternity photoshoot with his wife, Angelina. They decided to visit the picturesque Atlantic Beach in Jacksonville, Florida, known for its breathtaking views and serene atmosphere. Little did they know that their photoshoot would be graced with an unexpected visitor!
As Angelina struck a pose in front of the magnificent ocean backdrop, Dan started taking photos to capture these precious moments. However, when they later reviewed the images, they couldn’t believe their eyes. In one of the photos, a dolphin had leaped out of the water right behind Angelina, creating an enchanting and truly unforgettable scene.
Dan, in awe of the serendipitous moment, reached out to AWM to share their remarkable story. Although Angelina had missed witnessing the actual dolphin leap, they jokingly attribute it to the magic of their baby boy, Courtland, who was born on January 27th. They playfully suggest that Courtland must have summoned the dolphin from his mother’s belly, making the photo even more special.
During an interview with Yahoo, Dan explained that although they were aware of the dolphins in the area, they never expected to capture such a perfect moment. As onlookers excitedly pointed out the dolphins swimming nearby, one of them just happened to seize the opportunity and leap into the air. Dan couldn’t help but wonder if the dolphin somehow knew what was happening.
While some have teased the couple about changing Courtland’s name to “Dolph Finn,” Dan confirmed that they would stick with his original name. After all, the photo is a cherished reminder of the unique bond they share as a family.
