After embracing her gray hair and aging frame, Oscar-winning actress Diane Keaton, 77, has received criticism for being “ugly” and “fat.” The vicious comments hit especially hard after a decade-long eating issue, but the legendary beauty has the ideal reply for all the haters out there.

It should go without saying that Diane Keaton is a living legend and one of Hollywood’s most accomplished leading women. She has given a lot to her fans and the film industry over the course of her lengthy and incredibly successful career, which spans over six decades.

In 1968, Keaton debuted on stage in the hippy musical Hair as an understudy to a main role. It was a fortuitous performance since Woody Allen saw her and offered her a part in the Broadway production of Play it Again, Sam.

She and Allen pretended to be a couple on stage, but their chemistry led them to date for a while. They continued to be friends and collaborate on other movies and projects over the years after their breakup.

Although Keaton made her big screen debut in The Godfather, it was her chance to work again with Allen in Annie Hall (1977) that brought her both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe.

One has problems keeping track of all the movies Keaton has been in. Among the others, she co-starred with Warren Beatty in Looking for Mr. Goodbar, Manhattan, and the 1981 film Reds. Warren made his film debut in 1961’s Splendor in the Grass. Come on, really! He was really, truly, to die for. The dream. Bonnie and Clyde, perhaps? Come on,” she exclaimed in a Variety interview. In addition to being a brilliant movie star and being stunningly attractive, seductive, sexy, alluring, and enigmatic, he was also an incredible producer and director. Or, to be more precise, he still is. This is all just so unusual.

She has starred alongside Jack Nicholson in a number of films, including Father of the Bride (1991), Manhattan Murder Mystery, Godfather III, and Something’s Gotta Give.

She’s nothing if not fascinating, and working with her, she’s quite unpredictable, which I like, Nicholson remarked of Keaton. She is highly organized in all of this. She approaches a screenplay somewhat like a play in that, unlike other performers I’ve seen, she has the full script memorized before filming even begins.

Keaton prefers to age gracefully and maintain her natural beauty as opposed to having plastic surgery like many celebrities do.

“I tell myself that my body is mine to do with as I like. Exactly why not? I’m still wearing wide-belted plaid coats, horn-rimmed glasses, and turtlenecks in the summer; I may be a caricature of myself. Then what? Nobody save for me is concerned, she added in a Daily Beast interview. “I don’t see anything wrong with Botox, fillers, or facelifts. Just the covert scars from combat are removed. I kind of plan to wear mine.

When Keaton first began her career, she faced a lot of pressure to slim down. Her debut performance in Hair served as the catalyst for the entire situation. Sadly, Keaton battled for a very long time with an unhealthy relationship with food as a result.

“It was awful. Of course, that was the lowest period in my life.I was an obese individual who had managed to deceive myself or herself into believing that I wasn’t fat. In light of this, “after you’ve been living a lie for four years… She said, “All I did was feed my hunger, so I am an addict,” as she described her struggle with bulimia. It is real. I’m an addict who is in recovery, and I always will be. I have a tendency to become addicted.

There have been times when her appearance has drawn criticism from admirers who have referred to her as “fat” and “ugly” on social media. “Wow. Following her performance at the 2014 Golden Globes, someone tweeted, “Diane Keaton grew obese.

Another critic recently tweeted, “Well Diane Keaton isn’t nice, she ugly inside and out!”

At the 2017 American Film Awards dinner, where Keaton received a Lifetime Achievement Award, Woody Allen made light of her eating condition and quipped, “I didn’t know many things until I read her books. I was unaware that she had bulimia… I was going to take her to these fancy restaurants. $400 for a meal. I could have taken her to Pizza Hut if I had known that she was throwing them up.

Although Keaton’s quip caused some people to laugh out loud, the reality is that she is treating her bulimia quite seriously.

Keaton had previously been open about how she kept the weight off and “became a master at hiding.” How can you make sure no one finds out if you hide any evidence? You lead a pretty peculiar existence. You are acting falsely.

She added, “People were decent enough, but I felt like an outsider.” “I had a problem, and it was spooky. You lose a lot of time to bulimia each day.

When Keaton adopted her son and daughter in her forties, she became a mother much later in life.
