On Monday’s episode of “The Bachelorette,” Charity Lawson said to one of the men, “It wasn’t coming from a malicious place.”

The spoilers for The Bachelorette’s episode from Monday are in this post.

On Monday’s episode of The Bachelorette, Charity Lawson went on her first batch of dates and couldn’t have been more thrilled.

“Dating 19 men, this is my new reality, and boy am I ready for it!” Charity, 27, stated in an interview with the camera. “I have the best guys around, and after last night, I really think I can find love,” she said.

As the first one-on-one date of the season, Aaron B. jumped into Charity’s bright red convertible and they headed to the Hollywood sign, which this year marked its 100th anniversary. The 29-year-old and Charity connected in the car about having parents who cleaned early on the weekends and having a military dad.

Aaron B. and Charity walked up to the Hollywood sign, popped champagne, and raised a toast. Aaron B. agreed when Charity expressed her desire to replicate the long-lasting unions of both of their parents (hers has been together for 48 years).

Aaron B. remarked, “I’ll be talking about my best friend until I’m as old as the Hollywood sign.”

Aaron B. flipped a coin, just as he had on arrival night, and predicted that if it fell on heads, he and Charity would find the “everlasting love” they had been talking about. He then led Charity all the way up to the sign. And despite the fact that Aaron B. admitted to using a trick coin, Charity still gave him a kiss.

Aaron B. spoke to Charity over dinner about his tight bond with his brother and his time spent in a four-year relationship in college. “I struggled with active listening, and I struggled with communication, and it’s something I messed up,” he admitted.

Then Aaron B. revealed that he had begun counseling, and Charity was grateful for that.

In an interview, Charity remarked, “There’s nothing more attractive than someone who is going to put in the work to become a better person for their future partner.” And that’s what I want in a man, too.

They closed the evening with a special performance by country music artist Lauren Alaina, and Charity presented Aaron B. the date rose.

Caleb B., Kaleb K., Xavier, James, Aaron S., Sean, Dotun, Tanner, Adrian, John, Caleb A., Caleb B., and First Impression Brayden, the recipient of a rose, left on the season’s first group date. The men were initially having a good time on the beach when host Jesse Palmer announced that they would be playing dodgeball in a little “friendly competition for Charity’s heart.”

The men divided into two teams, pink and green, and put on swim trunks (“Sports cups are mandatory,” Jesse declared). While the losing team would go back to the mansion, the winning team would attend the after-party.

The pink team won the first round thanks to 27-year-old Xavier’s dominance, but the teams were tied going into the fifth and final round. Adrian, 33, of the green team, struck out three opponents with a single ball, but the pink team caught his throw and went on to win the match. Adrian was nonetheless given the game’s MVP award by Charity, which earned him entry to the after-party.

At the start of the after party, Brayden, 24, and Caleb B. argued over who should have won the title instead. But after talking to Charity and kissing her, Brayden was able to move past it.

John, 27, also approached Charity for a kiss; Charity appreciated his initiative. In an interview, Charity said, “I’m so happy with John.” He exhibited a distinct side of himself, in my opinion.

When MVP Adrian was speaking with Charity, he explained that he had left his daughter behind in order to participate in the program and that he didn’t understand why some of the men appeared to view their stay as “spring break.”

Do you think they have my best interests at heart? Charity made the inquiry.

He got away. Adrian answered, “I think you’ll be able to find that out.

Charity raised the issue with the organization right away. She warned the group date’s male participants that “some people here might be treating this like spring break.” “I don’t want it, if that’s the case. That doesn’t pique my attention. I want to be absolutely clear that my goal is to discover my person alone. Hopefully, all of you will be present for that as well.

The group date rose was given to John, the data scientist, by Charity to round off the evening.

Charity and her suitors John Henry, Michael, Warwick, Joey, Spencer, and Josh went on a group date that was organized by former Bachelorettes Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey. The men were given a number of questions to respond to, and Rachel, 27, and Gabby, 32, revealed that whatever man Charity chose based on his or her comments will attempt to break the franchise record for the longest kiss with the Georgia native.

“What is the sexiest thing about Charity?” was one of the queries. She requests that the men demonstrate their “ultimate makeout” for Rachel, Gabby, Charity, and the crowd. Joey, 27, was given a chance at the world-record kiss by Charity after deciding he had the most serious responses. They completely destroyed Sean Lowe’s record with a time of four minutes and 25 seconds.

Joey was rewarded that evening with a one-on-one date with Charity. The tennis star revealed to Charity during the date that his parents’ divorced when he was a young child because his father came out as gay.

While Joey was given a rose, Brayden was unhappy with the group date for the day when he returned to the mansion. Brayden spoke to the cameras and said, “I feel like they were insulted.

Brayden prepared to depart for the date by packing his bags.

Jesse, 44, informed the men that Charity preferred a BBQ over a cocktail party. During the daylight party, Charity kissed Dotun, 30, heard Tanner, 30, talk about his desire to meet his “forever person,” and Sean, 25, taught her how to play golf.

Brayden declared that he was prepared to leave and that Charity should be informed about the makeout group date.

The traveling nurse said to Charity, “I really felt horrible for those people.

It wasn’t coming from a malicious place, Charity assured Brayden.
They appeared to settle the situation, and Charity acknowledged in an interview that she valued Brayden’s candor because “he does not hold back with me, which is nice.”

But after that, Adrian informed Charity that Brayden had described the date as “classless.”

“To be called ‘classless,’ that’s just not the word that was used in our conversation,” said Charity.

When Jesse told the men that Charity had left the BBQ early, they enquired as to who had spoken to her most recently and what they had discussed. Adrian said that she had “asked me about last night” and had repeated Brayden’s response to the second group date.

At the rose ceremony, everyone gathered once more.

Charity told the men, “I’m doing what I think is best, and that doesn’t take away from any of you all.

Dotun, Tanner, Caleb B., Warwick, Michael, Shawn, Xavier, Aaron S., James, Adrian, and Bradyen all received roses from her. John Henry, Josh, Spencer, and Kaleb K. had to return home as a result.
