A young lady contacted Mr. Mountain and inquired about vegan food alternatives because she planned to visit the establishment on a Saturday. In a positive reply, the chef mentioned that they had gnocchi and veggies and that they would accommodate her. The chef neglected to provide vegan options because he was too busy serving a private party.

The following day, the client posted a complaint on Facebook, lambasting the $32 vegetable meal that was her “only option” and slamming the restaurant. According to reports, she continued, “I think it’s incredibly important nowadays that restaurants can accommodate everyone and to not be able to have actual plant-based meals shows your shortcomings as a chef.”
The restaurant received a ton of one-star ratings on Google as a result, which hurts a company’s reputation. Soon after, the eatery published a notice on its website saying, “Unfortunately, all vegans are now prohibited from dining at our establishment (for mental health reasons).” We appreciate your understanding.
Mr. Mountain mentioned his guidebook called Pig, which includes dishes for pigs, and said that clients should be aware of his culinary approach. People are aware of what to expect from me, he remarked. “I understand where vegans are coming from, but it’s not always possible for me to accommodate everyone’s dietary needs. My job is to make food taste as good as I can.”
