Melbourne Police have unveiled an image of a man who is believed to have played a part in a brutal road rage assault.

Authorities have decided to temporarily suspend the search efforts in the North Esk River for the missing Tasmanian teenager, Shyanne-Lee Tatnell.

According to the police, the search in the North Esk River for the 14-year-old teenager, Shyanne-Lee Tatnell, who went missing nearly three weeks ago, has been temporarily halted. The last known sighting of Shyanne-Lee was in the vicinity of Henry St, Launceston, close to the river, at 8:30 pm on Sunday, April 30.

Despite comprehensive search operations conducted in the area, law enforcement has thus far been unsuccessful in locating the teenager.

Inspector Craig Fox has made an announcement stating that the search operation for Shyanne-Lee in the North Esk River area will be concluded. Despite extensive efforts, including a recent search conducted with the assistance of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter, no significant findings have been made.

Inspector Fox expressed sympathy for Shyanne’s family and assured them that the police have maintained regular communication with them throughout this challenging period.

Inspector Craig Fox confirmed that despite the conclusion of the search operation, investigations into the disappearance of the 14-year-old, Shyanne-Lee, are still ongoing.

Recently, several items were discovered in the North Esk River and subsequently examined by the police. However, it has been confirmed that these items are unrelated to Shyanne-Lee’s disappearance. The authorities will continue their efforts to uncover any leads or information that may shed light on the circumstances surrounding her vanishing.

In addition, Inspector Craig Fox mentioned that the police are currently conducting forensic testing on additional items of interest that have been discovered in the past two weeks.

The authorities still maintain “serious concerns” regarding the welfare of Shyanne-Lee. Her family and friends have been unable to establish contact with her, which the police consider to be uncharacteristic of her behavior. The investigation remains focused on uncovering any information that could provide insight into her whereabouts or well-being.

CCTV footage has revealed the presence of vehicles in the vicinity when Shyanne-Lee was last seen, prompting a plea from the police for those drivers to come forward. Authorities are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who was driving a vehicle on Henry Street near the North Esk River between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm on the Sunday she disappeared. Despite the image quality being less than optimal, the police hope it may trigger the memories of drivers who were in the area. Even the smallest piece of information could prove crucial in locating Shyanne-Lee.

Descriptive details of Shyanne-Lee have also been provided: she is approximately 160cm tall with a slim build and blonde hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a cream-colored hooded jumper with dark-colored writing on the chest and shoulder area, along with bike shorts.

Individuals who possess any information relevant to the case are urged to contact the police or Crime Stoppers Tasmania.
