Marjorie also took to the internet to set the record straight. On Instagram, she wrote, “My husband and I don’t usually address all the foolishness and lies that have been spread about us. However, to whom much is given, much is required. I understand that with my platform comes some sort of responsibility to those that may not be as strong as we are.”

On The Steve Harvey Morning Show, he defended his wife, saying, “This woman got in the hole and built this with me. She didn’t steal anything! And I’m tired of y’all talking about my girl because my girl is one of the best women I’ve ever met. We are a tighter two-handed circle. You’re not going to split us up!”
Steve’s comments were prompted by a leaked conversation involving his co-host Shirley Strawberry, who had made claims about him being “scared” of Marjorie. Strawberry later issued an apology to the Harveys through a social media video, clarifying that her words were not meant to add fuel to the fire. She expressed her regret and acknowledged that the leaked tapes had nothing to do with the couple’s relationship.
