Queen Camilla, alongside King Charles and other senior members of the Royal Family, attended the Remembrance Day service at The Cenotaph today. During the solemn occasion, Queen Camilla wore a pair of stunning earrings that she had debuted on her wedding day with King Charles back in 2005.

The £38,000 pearl-drop earrings are adorned with a large, round pearl suspended from intricate silver discs. These earrings hold great sentimental value for Queen Camilla, as she often wears them at various royal engagements and evening receptions.

As tradition dictates, Queen Camilla paid her respects while dressed in black, standing on a balcony near The Cenotaph along with her daughter-in-law Kate Middleton. Both of them wore Remembrance Day poppies, with Camilla opting to wear one, while Kate wore three.

This year’s Remembrance Day service held special significance, as it marked the first time King Charles led the nation in paying tribute to Britain’s war dead since his and Camilla’s coronation in May. At 11 am, a two-minute silence was observed, followed by the laying of wreaths at The Cenotaph. Major Ollie Plunket, The Rifles and equerry to Queen Consort Camilla, laid a wreath on behalf of the Queen.

The event was attended by notable individuals such as the Prince and Princess of Wales, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Leader of the Opposition Sir Keir Starmer, and several senior politicians. Additionally, thousands of veterans and armed forces personnel from all three services marched past The Cenotaph, paying their respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Queen Camilla viewed the Remembrance Day service from the balcony of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, accompanied by the Princess of Wales. Her wreath closely resembled the one crafted for the Queen Mother, according to Buckingham Palace.

Let us take a moment to remember and honor the bravery and sacrifice of the men and women who gave their lives in service to their country.
