Tom Brady, the legendary quarterback with seven Super Bowl championships under his belt, recently discussed why he won’t be making a second comeback to the NFL. In a casual conversation on his SiriusXM podcast, Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gray, Brady made it clear that his decision is rooted in his family.

During the podcast, a joke was made by Jimmy Donaldson, better known as Mr. Beast from YouTube. He mentioned that his ratings would soar if Brady were to return to the game. However, Brady’s response was swift and unwavering. He firmly declared, “I am NOT coming out of retirement.” He acknowledged Mr. Beast’s clever idea but stressed that his family is the primary reason for his decision. Even Jim Gray, Brady’s co-host, tried to convince him otherwise, but Brady stood his ground. In a lighthearted manner, he added, “My parents and my kids would call. They would kill me. I wouldn’t be around by tonight.”

For those who may not be aware, Brady initially retired from the NFL on February 1, 2022, after an impressive 22-year career. However, that retirement only lasted 40 days before he unretired and returned to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the 2022 season. He then retired “for good” during the 2023 offseason, on February 1, 2023.

“As I said, you’re only allowed one un-retirement. And I’ve used it up,” Brady responded when Jim Gray suggested a more original idea to boost ratings. He then expressed his desire to be in more of Mr. Beast’s videos because his kids hold Mr. Beast in high regard.

Brady humorously acknowledged Mr. Beast’s influence on the younger community and how his own children would likely listen to Mr. Beast more than their beloved father. “Jimmy’s the one that’s got their attention. So if he tells them to do something, he’s got a lot more influence than I do. So I’m actually trying to stay on their good side,” Brady added, hinting at a potential future collaboration between himself and Mr. Beast.

In another exciting development, Mr. Beast extended an invitation to Tom Brady to be a contestant in one of his YouTube videos. The idea of collaboration between Tom Brady, the current G.O.A.T. of YouTube, and one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time is truly remarkable. People from all around the world would be eager to tune in, regardless of what they decide to do.

During the podcast, Mr. Beast shared his vision of the collaboration and even provided a preview of what it might look like. “Yeah, come on down. It’d be fun to have you as a contestant. Imagine my viewers, they just click on a video, and it’s like a hundred people competing, and then suddenly it’s Tom Brady. They’d be like, what the heck? It’d be so funny,” Mr. Beast enthusiastically explained. Doesn’t that sound like something you would watch?

Tom Brady seemed to like the idea but with one condition – they should choose a competition that highlights his strengths. He exclaimed, “I’ll do it. We just gotta make a competition that I’m somewhat decent at. You can’t bury me alive or something like that!” Retirement hasn’t dampened Brady’s competitive spirit, and he still strives to win at everything he does.
