The bride posted a few pictures from the event, including up-close shots of her dress and engagement rings.
Alaina Marie Scott, daughter of Eminem, deserves congratulations!
On June 9 in Detroit, Michigan, the 30-year-old married her longtime partner Matt Moeller in front of family members, including Alaina’s sister Hailie Jade Scott, a bridesmaid.
Including a close-up of her Katerina Bocci wedding dress, Alaina posted images from the event to Instagram with the caption, “June 9, 2023 simply one of the best days of my life. In this lifetime and in the next, my soul will always find yours.”
Alaina and Matt are shown cuddling in pictures she shared on the dance floor, in an elevator, and on a rooftop. She also showed a picture of their wedding rings and the aisle that was lined with white roses for their ceremony.
A picture of the wedding party, which included Hailie Jade, as well as the bridesmaids, who wore black dresses by Revelry, was also posted by Alaina.
Alaina previously posted a video of herself flaunting her engagement ring while wearing a feather-trimmed white silk robe. The video then switched to a shot of her and her husband holding up their wedding bands. She signed it, “Love, Mr. & Mrs. Moeller.”
In December 2021, the couple got engaged, and Alaina posted on Instagram, “This moment. these days. Yes, a thousand times yes. I adore you. With pictures from the rooftop proposal, she posted that caption.
Early in the new millennium, when Alaina’s mother, Kim’s sister Dawn Scott, was having drug problems, Eminem adopted her. 2016 saw Scott’s passing.
Dawn was my sweet, beautiful sister who lost her path, wrote Alaina’s twin sister Kimberly Mathers in a message following the death of Dawn. In the hopes that she would find her way back to me, I kept a light on for her. More beyond everything I could possibly say, I miss and love her. She should be here so I can give her a hug and tell her I love her.
In 2004, Eminem discussed adopting Alaina, saying to Rolling Stone, “I have full custody of my niece.” Since the day she was born, my niece has been a part of my life, he said. She would essentially live with Kim and I wherever we went.
Eminem stated on Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson in 2020 that Alaina, who he frequently refers to as Lainey in the lyrics of his songs, is “like a daughter” to him.
Eminem also mentioned his daughter Hailie Jade and her then-boyfriend, now-fiancé Evan McClintock, in the same interview. He replied, “No babies,” when questioned about her. A boyfriend only. She’s doing well,” I said, adding, “She’s definitely made me proud.”
After six years of dating McClintock, Hailie Jade, 27, proposed in February. Rather dubious, McClintock discussed how he obtained Eminem’s approval when appearing on Hailie’s program. McClintock remembered, “It was around the holidays. “I was only searching for a chance to avoid being too blatant. When I saw your father descend the stairs, I said, “All right. If I don’t do it now, I won’t do it today. I’m going to need to plan another time. I simply followed him downstairs where, fortunately, he was already grabbing your [birthday] cake.
Alaina posted pictures of the group on Instagram after the couple announced their engagement with the caption, “There aren’t many life moments that leave you feeling pure bliss, but this has to be one of them.”
I’m over the moon to watch my younger sister having her best life, which some people might assume has always been simple, she continued. She is currently dominating her career, being one of my maids of honor, her podcast, and everything else she touches. You’ll succeed as a wife, I’m sure, too.
