Rocks and an iron weight that served as an anchor were then used to weigh it down.

Dylan’s liver contained methamphetamine and amphetamine, according to a toxicology result.

His death was ruled to be the result of “homicidal violence” with no clear motive.

DEATH THROUGH ‘HOMICIDAL VIOLENCE’

Eight counts against the Groves include murder, kidnapping, terrible exploitation of a corpse, and other offenses.

They have entered a not guilty plea to each and every charge.

Authorities claimed that Dylan had a brief and difficult existence.

ABORTED WITH DRUG SYSTEM

After he was born with drugs in his system, child services took him into their custody.

Later, Dylan was given back to his father under the condition that he appear in court, make house calls, and go to doctor’s appointments.

However, the family disappeared on May 3, and the police were contacted to help.

STAND-OFF FOR SIX HOURS

The parents were discovered riding a four-wheeler close to their home after going missing for three weeks, and they quickly took off into the woods.

On June 10, deputies carried out a search warrant to Daniel’s residence.

Daniel locked himself inside the house and was eventually captured following a six-hour standoff while Jessica was brought into custody.

According to the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office, the youngster may have passed away in March.

The government claims that Dylan’s case was improperly handled by children’s services and that they broke protocol.

A coercive action plan must be created, according to their request.

Dylan’s parents have so far pled not guilty to all allegations.
