Serena Williams is serving.

The 41-year-old tennis champion was on holiday in Italy on Monday when she posted two photographs to Instagram showing off her developing baby belly while posing in a body-con, sleeveless black dress and pink heels.

She made light of the situation in the Instagram caption, warning that not everything is as it seems. I’m really attempting to determine if the baby is in the front or the back. Slide right, summer vacation in Italy.

Williams was posed facing the camera in the first image. To emphasize her baby belly in the second photo, she turned to face the camera with her side showing.

Olympia, a 5-year-old, is already Williams and Alexis Ohanian’s child.

The tennis legend posted a heartwarming video on Instagram just days after announcing that she and Ohanian were expecting their second child at the 2023 Met Gala. It showed them sitting down with the 5-year-old to share the happy news.

Williams added in the video, “Olympia does not currently know that I am pregnant, so the big revelation will be at the Met, and then before we go, I’ll inform Olympia.

The athlete said, “The reason I haven’t told her is because she can’t keep a secret.”

The clip, which also included behind-the-scenes footage of Williams getting ready for the Met Gala, ended before Williams could break the news to her young child, though. “Remain tuned… Williams captioned the video with “link in bio to subscribe,” hinting that more of the priceless moment would be shown on YouTube.

The video’s footage was captured just before Williams and her Reddit co-founder husband revealed their pregnancy to the public.

Williams uploaded a carousel of images of herself and Ohanian on Instagram before walking the Met Gala red carpet, revealing her baby bump beneath her clothing.

The athlete captioned the images, “Was so pleased when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala.
