She is merely a Barbie doll who resides in… the real world?

The latest full-length teaser for the Greta Gerwig-directed Barbie film, starring Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, has received a frenzied response from fans.

On July 20, the eagerly awaited movie will debut in Australian theaters.

The teaser has Ken and Barbie leaving Barbie Land to experience the “real world,” and it appears to be “the best day ever!”

That is, until a full-blown existential crisis is witnessed in Barbie.

Barbie tells her friends, “Some things have been happening that might be related,” adding that she’s taken a “cold shower” and fallen from her roof instead of floating like she usually does.

The worst thing is not even that.

In response to her Barbie companions’ screams and gasps at the sight of Barbie’s flat feet, Barbie exclaims, “And my heels… are on the ground.”

Chaos reigns, and it’s hilarious.

In order to fix this issue, Barbie first visits Kate McKinnon’s “Weird Barbie,” who advises her to enter the “real world.”

Weird Barbie tells Barbie that she has two options: she may select the route of the pink pump or the way of the human Birkenstock sandal. “You can go back to your regular life or you can know the truth about the universe,” she adds.

So begins Barbie and Ken’s trip into the real world.

Make Your Own Kind of Music by Cass Elliot is playing in the background as clips of Barbie’s clumsy adventures are presented.

Barbie is seen being arrested, Ken attempting to operate on a human appendix, and Barbie evading the evil Will Farrell-played CEO of Mattel who is determined to put her “back in a box.”

The entertaining trailer caused a social media frenzy.

One Twitter user declared, “I am going to make this movie my whole personality.”

Another said, “This is CINEMA!”.

A third wrote, “Already ready for a prequel.”

Another just uttered “YAY.”

“My pink clothing is prepared! Babes, let’s go. another wrote.

One Barbie lover said, “The Barbie feet is peak cinema, but now we have Barbie floating down from her house the same way we would play with our Barbies… these details are driving me insane!!!!”

Another person remarked, “Choosing which Barbie doll to bring while watching the movie as we speak.”

On Thursday, it was also revealed that Dua Lipa, Lizzo, Haim, Tame Impala, Nicki Minaj, and one of the film’s stars, Ryan Gosling, would all be featured on the soundtrack. Ryan Gosling’s musical number, however, did not appear to be featured in the trailer.

The soundtrack’s executive music producer is DJ and producer Mark Ronson, and it is anticipated to be a success in and of itself.

On July 20, the Barbie movie will open in theaters.
